The nt2linux module is rather crude. It displays the various information categories and let you browse them. For each category, you are allowed to "export" the information. Once you have exported the information, the appropriate configuration file is updated and a backup copy is produced. A message confirm the job done.
After exporting the various categories, you are ready to test the new configurations. You may want to restart the various services, at least samba to get proper operation.
/etc/rc.d/init.d/smb restart
will do it.
