The components
Here are the original components I had in mind

*web ssl: This is simply one apache running ssl and proxying to sub-apaches.
*web: This is apache running the HTML front-ends.
*trlid: This is the reader. The HTML front-ends talk to this guy to get content.
 trlid can't write to any database.
*trli-writed: This is the writer.
