- Read the help provided for the first menu screen
- Visit the various menus, especially the ones in the
Networking
submenu.
- Visit the
boot mode
menu and check out the "default boot mode."
- Quit from Linuxconf and check out the suggested changes it
proposes to your system.
- Reboot your system and watch it. Make sure all services are
still running as before. Be aware that Linuxconf monitors
and controls the boot process. It may very well uncover
flaws in your configuration that predate Linuxconf installation.
