Configuration of the vacation service


  1.  Introduction

  The vacation system allows you to setup a small notice sent to email
  correspondent when you are away. The notice is sent once per
  correspondent.


  2.  Operation mode

  This facility may be configured either by the server administrator or
  by the user.


  2.1.  Using the web form

  The user connect using any WEB browser to
  http://emailserver:98/htmlmod:vacation:.

  First he must identify himself by providing his email address
  (user@domain) and his POP/IMAP password.


  2.2.  Email administrator

  The facility is integrated with the user account configuration dialog.


  3.  Vacation configuration

  Here are the various fields of the dialog.


  3.1.  Enable the vacation service

  You can turn the mechanism on an off without changing the vacation
  text. Turning off the mechanism erase the correspondent list.


  3.2.  Reset the correspondent list

  The vacation notice is sent only once to the various correspondent.  A
  database is maintained to remember who has already received the
  notice.  You may want to reset this database so the notice is sent
  again. In general you do this because you have changed the vacation
  text (your holiday will last longer than expected for example).


  3.3.  Message subject

  This will be used as the subject. Strings like "out of town" or
  "unavailable" may be used.


  3.4.  Vacation text

  This will form the body of the message sent. In text mode, to enter
  edit mode in a text area widget, just hit "SPACE". Enter the text and
  hit "ESC" to return to normal navigation mode (allowing you to use
  "TAB" to reach the buttons).
