1. Principle

Some fax destinations are restricted to only a few users. Those users are identified with their email address and optionally with their PGP signature.

The access control principle of the mail to fax gateway is this:

• Fax zones and fax aliases are associated with fax rules.
• A fax rule may define a list of users who can fax to any zones or aliases managed by this rule.
• A fax rule may contain a list of users.
