Indica el directorio (en el sistema de archivos real) donde se encuentran sus páginas principales de internet.
Un ejemploe: Si selecciona el documento root a
/home/httpd/html, entonces accede a
http://your.webserver.com/index.html retornando el archivo
/home/httpd/html/index.html. Un acceso a
http://your.webserver.com/foo/gazonk.gif devolvería
/home/httpd/html/foo/gazonk.gif.
