When Linux boots, it displays information on the screen which may be useful
for diagnosing certain problems. For example, Linux generally prints
information on the hardware that it probes. Fortunately, all this info is stored
in a buffer that is retrieved by askrunlevel and saved in the file
/var/adm/boot.log.
