About module usersbygroup 1. Introduction The module lets ordinary users manage user accounts in specific group. 2. Features For each group, you define the default shell (co-administrator have no control over it) and special tasks. The administrators will be able to apply those tasks to user accounts, with full root privileges. Tasks like reseting desktop defaults may be created. 2.1. Command lines None. 2.2. Virtual registry Special groups may be configured from the virtual registry using the usersbygroup prefix. 2.3. Privileges Each special group defines two privileges. The first allow an ordinary user to perform task and maintenance on the special group. The second allow the co-administrator to add account (or not). 2.4. Inter-module API None. 2.5. Profiles None. 3. Packaging/Location. The module is part of the core Linuxconf package. It is enabled by default. 4. Author The module was written by Jacques Gelinas (jack@solucorp.qc.ca).
