About module treemenu 11.. IInnttrroodduuccttiioonn This module proposes a very different user interface to Linuxconf. The module extracts all the sub-menu from the various modules and produces a large tree structure. 22.. FFeeaattuurreess 22..11.. SSttaattee rreeccoorrddiinngg The state of the tree menu is preserved at the end of the linuxconf session, by user/admin. 22..22.. HHiigghhlliigghhttss In graphical mode, all modules operate inside a multi-pane window instead of poping dialog here and there on the desktop. Here are the various panes: +o Tree menu on the left +o Dialog area on the right. This is a multi-document area (notebook style) where all dialogs and lists are presented. +o Bottom multi-document area (notebook style) where various status are reported. the updatemon module presents the last 400 file modification done.
