This POP3d server has been renamed to vpop3d. This is basically the original pop3d server from BSD 4.3 with a twist to make it support virtual email server. It has been include in the linuxconf distribution because it is the only admin package allowing one to support this concept. If the concept get some acceptance, it is believed that the vpop3d package will be merge in the standard POP3d distribution as this server is still a drop-in replacement for a standard pop3d server and do not require any special switches (All magic :-) ). Check the help screen of linuxconf when creating virtual email domain to learn how to use it. Mostly, to enable this virtual POP3d server, just change the path in /etc/inetd.conf from /usr/sbin/pop3d to /usr/lib/linuxconf/lib/vpop3d. This is all. The source were taken from a Slackware 3.0 distribution btw.
