Dumptypes specify backup related parameters, such as whether to compress the backups, whether to record backup results in /etc/dumpdates, the disk's relative priority, etc. 44.. SSppiinnddllee ((ooppttiioonnaall)) A number used to balance backup load on a host. Amanda will try not to run multiple backups on a given spindle. 55.. IInntteerrffaaccee ((ooppttiioonnaall)) The name of a network interface definition in the config file, used to balance net work load. NOTE: This option may defined only if Spindle was defined aswell.
