LDAPconf formclient may be used to search and manage LDAP directories over the network. The user may select one of the available form profiles, and use the binding and field setup provided by this profile to manage a directory. Usually the host admin will define form profiles using pre configured bindings and form templates. This way, the user may access directory information on remote (or local) servers without the need to know any adresses/passwords etc. The user may also override the profile binding setup by entering personal binding information, to use the form against any directory.
