Formclient Using LDAPconf formclient Index LDAPconf formclient may be used to search and manage LDAP directories over the network. The user may select one of the available form profiles, and use the binding and field setup provided by this profile to manage a directory. Usually the host admin will define form profiles using pre configured bindings and form templates. This way, the user may access directory information on remote (or local) servers without the need to know any adresses/passwords etc. The user may also override the profile binding setup by entering personal binding information, to use the form against any directory. 11.. A wildcard only (*) will return a list of all entries in this directory. 11..33.. MMooddiiffyy The formclient will connect to the directory using the curent binding and update an entry. If the entry is missing or the binding does not have write access, the update will fail. 11..44.. AAdddd The formclient will add an empty entry to the directory constructed from the value in the "Entry Key" field. You have to use modify after adding an entry to update with more data. 11..55..
